Our Services Include
FTL (full truckload freight)
FTL shipping is commonly used for large shipments that require taking up the entire truck, or at least close to it. With FTL, your freight is the only freight moving on an individual truck so you can reserve the truck with its full capacity even if you don’t require the entire available space. The benefit of FTL is that you won’t have to worry about your goods changing hands at any time or your goods being stuck with other companies’ products.
LTL (less-than-truckload)
LTL is when multiple shippers’ freight is on the same trailer. Several LTL shipments are combined into one truck to fill it as near to capacity as possible. LTL is usually beneficial for the shipping needs of small businesses.
Door-to-Door
Truck transportation of moving the container to the retail customer.
Shuttle Drayage
When a container is loaded to a temporary parking spot or stopping point to make room for more units at the hub of origin.
Pier Drayage
The movement of a container being transported from a rail terminal to an ocean’s shipping dock or pier. Usually, but not always, used in exporting services.
Inter-Carrier Drayage
When trucks transfer cargo between different carriers in a short distance, like moving cargo from a terminal to rail, sea to rail, etc.
Intra-Carrier Drayage
This involves trucks taking freight to two different locations owned by the same carrier company. In this case, cargo can be transported from an intermodal hub to a railyard.
Expedited Drayage
In which freight containers are transported in the shortest amount of time possible. Often used for time-sensitive shipments.
